WHY

Burjuman Mall became home to Puma’s largest Factory Outlet Store in the Middle East—a landmark moment, not just in scale but in storytelling. Beyond being a powerhouse for outlet pricing, this store introduced Puma’s first-ever House of Cricket showcase, catering to the region’s passionate cricket audience.

While the House of Cricket section sat right at the entrance, the goal was to create a “stop and stare” moment—something that would instantly draw people in, ignite curiosity, and drive discovery of Puma's cricket gear that ranged from kit bags, jerseys, cricket accessories including gloves, thigh pads, and more. The answer was clear: Virat Kohli. A global icon, a relentless force, and the face of cricket’s unstoppable spirit.

how

We knew that Kohli’s presence alone had the power to pull in cricket lovers of all ages—kids, adults, amateurs, and seasoned players alike. This insight led to the creation of a bold graffiti pillar—a dynamic homage that was impossible to miss.

Taking inspiration from Kohli’s most legendary moments, we designed a two-sided masterpiece: one side captured an intense close-up, highlighting his fearless gaze and unwavering determination, while the other side showcased him mid-action, immersed in play, bursting with movement, drive, and precision.

Infused with the colors of the Indian cricket team, the artwork pulsed with energy, seamlessly blending regional elements into the background.
This project was not just about art—it was about driving impact and making a statement. In just about 2.5 days, this pillar was sketched, outlined, and brought to life by a powerhouse team of three artists, led by Cholo Juan—a multidisciplinary artist with over 15 years of experience in creating some of the most visually arresting murals across the region.

More than just a storefront, this was a statement. A bold, undeniable tribute to Virat Kohli’s Forever. Faster. legacy, perfectly timed with Puma’s epic House of Cricket launch.
