As the first-ever pet relocations company to find home at Dubai Cargo within Dubai International Airport, Sandy Paws had a vision to create a space that extended beyond travel crates and desks.
It was a first-of-its-kind strategic partnership between Dubai Cargo within Dubai International Airport and Sandy Paws, with the objective of achieving smoother logistics and seamless operations associated with the transportation of pets travelling in and out of the U.A.E. As true custodians of pet care and the highest ethical practices, Sandy Paws was determined to build a space that combined high functionality and was also visually stunning which was where we came in.
The objective was to create beautiful, Instagrammable spots across their offices to mirror the vibrancy of their online touchpoints into their physical space too. Given the nature of their business, they had to ensure that their space centred around the needs of pets while also being one that was filled with personality, ready to welcome numerous customer visits and walk-ins.
We began with a thorough recce of the space, strategically identifying the offline opportunities and key points. From there, we ideated and designed mood boards and visual content, tailored for each area. Our dual approach ensured a balance between visuals and copy, with some spaces featuring a beautiful blend of both, and others solely focusing on standalone copy to spotlight the office design elements.
For the entrance door and welcome wall, we designed artworks that were a blend of visuals and copy incorporating subtle features from the website including icons, typography, and design elements. Then came in the copy-led stations including the cattery, payment zone, and kennel region – each making a strong statement.
The pièce de résistance was the boarding area, designed as a photo point with an outline silhouette for the cutest pet travellers and the Sandy Paws team. This area, where journeys are documented and shared with pet parents, featured a stunning integration of visuals, subtle design elements, and copy that exuded the brand's essence.
